If you would like to come and meet us, worship with us or are just passing, come in and make yourself known, you will be very welcome.

We were a joint pastorate with Leigh United Reformed Church, with whom we shared our Minister. Very sadly Leigh URC closed and a number of folk from Trinity attended Leigh URC’s last service in the Spring of 2013.  The service was conducted by Rev Chris Parker and Rev Howard Sharp our URC moderator at the Methodist Church in Leigh. Our thoughts and prayers are with the congregation from Leigh as they settle into their new places of worship.

On Saturday 12 March 2016 Rev Chris Parker was inducted at Tunley URC which will be a shared ministry with Trinity.  See Chris' note above and view photos of the Induction Service at Tunley URC.

Trinity United Reformed Church has been in its present buildings since 1980. The United Reformed Church has its roots in the Presbyterian Church, Congregational Church and Churches of Christ. Read Robert (Bob) Jolley's Story - Trinity's architect.

We are a church of about 100 members, with 12 elders elected from the membership to serve and lead the church, alongside our Minister, Rev Chris Parker.

Commitment for Life Elders' Away Day at the United Church of Skelmesdale - 2016

The main focus of the day was a vision for Trinity and how we might involve young people in worship.

MY MINISTRY AT TRINITY AND TUNLEY URC

As you all are aware, my time at Trinity since my induction in 2011 has been shared with another church.  Until now Trinity has had 75% of my time.

Following meetings and a "Preach with a View" I have accepted the call to be Minister of Tunley United Reformed Church from March 2016, alongside my Ministry at Trinity. The Synod Pastoral Meeting has decided, after conversation with the Elders here and at Tunley, to scope the New Pastorate on a two thirds and one third basis.  There will be a small reduction in my time given to Trinity which will be most noticeable on Sundays.  Please pray for Elizabeth as she fills the pulpit in my absence.

If you want to talk to me about the impact of these things just ask.  Please pray for Trinity, Tunley and myself as we all get used to new patterns of work and witness together.

Chris
