About 20 folk from a cross section of local churches (Baptist, Anglican, Catholic and URC) joined together each Monday evening for study and discussion based on the beatitudes, as recorded in Matthew’s gospel (Chapter 5).
We wrestled with questions such as:
- What does it mean to be meek?
- Where are we challenged to be peacemakers?
Our final meeting was an Agape meal, a shared supper, with Easter readings, reflections, hymns and prayers. We look forward to the next collaboration with neighbouring churches.
